February 18th, 2010 - “Making A Difference”

The opening event of the current show FACE VALUE was a success on many levels. The young artists of Shoot With This experienced the process of showing their work in a professional gallery. The limitless potential for youth when doors are opened was the subject of an impassioned speech by Mayor David Miller. Prominent Toronto gallerist Nicholas Metivier spoke about the power of art and community. Dameion Royes, co-founder of Shoot With This, and The Al Green Gallery director, Lindy Green, each shared experiences about this unique collaboration.

Susan Hay of Global TV will cover the exhibit on her show “Making A Difference” this Monday, March 15 between 6 - 7 pm.
